This is not a degree programme. Certificates are not degrees and do not carry academic credit at accredited institutions.
Most ministry teams are not built. They accumulate - whoever said yes last time, doing whatever was needed last time, with no role description, no onboarding, and no plan for what happens when the person leading it burns out.
This course treats team-building as a describable craft: recruiting without manipulation, writing an actual role instead of a vague need, onboarding a new member in their first ninety days, running a meeting that builds the team rather than just processing an agenda, handling conflict that tangles relationship and task together, and surviving a real team crisis - including, honestly, the crisis where the leader is the problem.
Eight weeks, each ending in an 'In My Own Seat' exercise: mapping your team's current state, building a candidate list, writing a role description, an onboarding checklist, redesigning your meetings, preparing a hard conversation, and - in week 7's required lecture - the boundary rules and crisis procedures that protect a team before a crisis happens.
