1베냐민 땅 아나돗의 제사장 중 힐기야의 아들 예레미야의 말이라
1The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
2아몬의 아들 유다 왕 요시야의 다스린지 십삼 년에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하였고
2to whom Yahweh’s word came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
3요시야의 아들 유다 왕 여호야김 시대부터 요시야의 아들 유다 왕 시드기야의 제십일년 말까지 임하니라 이 해 오 월에 예루살렘이 사로잡히니라
3It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
4여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하니라 이르시되
4Now Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
5내가 너를 복중에 짓기 전에 너를 알았고 네가 태에서 나오기 전에 너를 구별하였고 너를 열방의 선지자로 세웠노라 하시기로
5“Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
